Where Did You Get Your User Name?

Thought I'd have a little fun with this, so where's your user name from? In my case, I thought it up on the spot when I joined Provo way back in the day. I had a Vino, and a bottle of Chardonnay with a little crown on it, and since Vino means wine, whola, King Vino, LOL, not very original, but best I could do on the spot!

I picked mine up as a nickname in HS. It is just a tricked out funky dope-a-delic way of saying my name. Say the above kinda fast with a drawl. Chreaus. It also works for just about any site I sign on to. I've used it on 3-4 email servers and numerous other sites.

You know, I thought it would be fun to pull out the proverbial shovel and pick axe and dig really deep for an old post and then regenerate interest...so here's one from a year and a half ago. I say I thought it would be fun...at 2:30 in the morning while suffering from insomnia and my alternative is to watch 30 different channels of half hour long commercials featuring rotisserie pimps and midget real estate guru twins, one of whom is now dead.
But in keeping with the subject of this post, no user name is, and I know you're not going to believe this interesting story, but, well, there is no interesting story. I just saw that I once again had to come up with another user name and there wasn't enough room for my first choice which was "I hate thinking up user names". Then I thought about using my pet raccoons name but I've used that elsewhere so I thought I won't need a user name if I have no user name...and there it is.
Time to sleep, my work is done here!

Malisaw is a character from a short story I wrote back around 1978-79 in high school. The story (only copy I had) went for a competition and won, but got LOST on the way back to me. I've used name for online games from Quake (original) to DMH and ShotOnline. I don't think it likely I'll hit a situation where it's already been used by someone else...so it's an easy choice. If I do find it's been used somewhere...I'll know where my short story ended up! lol

My nickname didn't come from scooters. I am an avid pool player and not bragging but a pretty good one. One of my team mates hung the handle Iceman on me. I ask him why and he said that I always seemed to cool down under pressure of the game. Also since I am 6'2" and 200 + and bald with a gray beard, he said I looked like the hit man they called the Iceman (I can't remember his name but they had a news show interview on him). I guess it just kind of stuck. I have tried to sign on some other sites and found that others have used the name. Too bad I don't have exclusive rights but the original is not some one to mess with. o--

My scooter was next to all big bikes (Harleys and etc. what you typically see at a bar besides me) I came out and some of the big bike owners were outside showing off their bikes and i came out and got in my trunk and pulled out my helmet. They all looked at me and started chuckeling at me because of my "cute little bike...".

Well then i started it! ( I have my own custom exhaust i made it sounds like a 125cc dirtbike.)

Then they all shut-up and came over to see what the hell was going on. One big guy was lookig at my scooter and was like, "so.....it is a little venice rocket huh?..."
So there it is VeniceRocket. Facinating huh. ::unk::

i've used mine since i first signed on to mIRC...years ago...i used to race bicycles and still love cycling...except now in my older age and more obligations...i've become just a recreational rider...and scooterist...and my first name is Ugeane..so it fit...lol
