So my last posting went pretty well and all is running (for now).
My new problems since I installed the 70cc kit.

What I don't understand.
When I hit 25 mph, I hear a weird tapping or clicking noise AND when I push past 25 to around 32+, I hear a zipping noise as well that sounds like someone tightening a zip tie really quickly.

Anyone heard any of these noises before?

The clicking or zip noise sounds like it comes from behind the fan shroud.
The tap sounds like it comes from the carb or maybe the piston tapping the plug?

I read a lot on here and found out the the plug tap is a common and easy fix.
I also read about another poor *potty mouth**potty mouth**potty mouth**potty mouth**potty mouth**potty mouth**potty mouth* who's wrist pin circlip got stock in the cylinder. (Dear lord, I hope that's not it) I read that the tapping noise is sometimes the variator? What about the weird zipping noise though? It kinda sounds like "spark" or electricity.

Lastly, where can I locate jets? I want to step the stock carb jetting up a couple knotches but really know nothing about rejeting.

Any hep would be appreciated.

on a side not - the "potty mouth" I just noticed in my posting was NOT - me calling someone horrible names, I was me calling someone an unlucky guy or poor guy...

Get my drift?

7 "potty mouths" seems a bit excessive. Can we change it to 1 "potty mouth?"

Or you could just quit using words that set the filter off. ,.,.

Do you talk to your mother that way?

- mostly she talks to me that way. Hence the negative scooter Karma.

So it was a simple fix. I thought it was a combination of plug tap and maybe a roller weight issue.

Turns out, when I pulled the primary cover off, I found that my kicker tension spring hand managed to slip down. It was nolonger hooked behind the edge of the gear but inside one of the two holes in the gear. This was causing the spring to stand up to high and push the smaller cranking gear (not sure of the name) against the variator.

It took a bit of man handling but I managed to get it all back together and now everything is A-OK.
